I still can’t believe it’s October. I feel like September flew by. Well, I guess if it’s October than we better keep making fun Halloween treats and decorations. I LOVE Halloween and you can’t celebrate Halloween without scary Halloween treats. Today we’re making Monster Cookie Bars. They’re easy to make and super fun to eat. And guess what? You can even get the kiddos in on the action.
Directions:
First, make cookie bars using your favorite cookie dough. I used chocolate chip cookie dough. You could even make brownies.
Next, cover the cookie bars in icing and add sprinkles. Cut into squares.
Make monster eyes using cookies sandwiches and chocolate candy.
That’s it! Aren’t they cute?!
These turned out even cuter than I imagined they would. Don’t you love when that happens? I thought about using the candy eyes but decided at the last minute to make eyes with cookies and I’m so glad I did.
Are you planning a Halloween party? Then you have to make these Monster Cookie Bars.
You know what goes great with Monster Cookie Bars? Halloween mini monster cans. These are awesome and the perfect Halloween treat. Who wouldn’t want to drink out of a mini monster can on Halloween? Connor is so excited to drink out of these fun cans. They come in cans of Sunkist® Soda, 7UP®, A&W® Root Beer, Canada Dry®, Squirt® or Big Red®, all found at Walmart.
Snag this Ibotta rebate to receive $1.00 cash back on your purchase of Halloween Monster Cans. Woohoo! I love getting money back on my favorite products.
And there’s more! Release the #MiniMonster with the cool Mini Monsters Augmented Reality App. Yep, you heard me – there’s an app for that. Using the app, scan the #MiniMonsters on the cans and watch as they come to life! Scan two different #MiniMonsters flavors for even more fun. The app even allows users to record video of their monster experience, as well as take selfies with the monsters. How cool is that? I better download this app for Connor ASAP.
So I guess you better head to Walmart this week so you can stock up on these Halloween monster cans and pick up everything you need to make fun Monster Cookie Bars. It’s time to release the #MiniMonsters!
